Allklear 400 - Antioxidant

EFFECTIVE WITH BOTH BIODIESEL AND WASTE / STRAIGHT VEGETABLE OIL!

Allklear 400 is a biodiesel antioxidant which, when added to a new, uncontaminated batch of biodiesel will control the oxidation levels, if left uncontrolled biodiesel will begin to oxidise from the day of production. By adding Allklear 400 you can greatly extend the shelf life of biodiesel to up to 2 years

Allklear 400 is designed for use in new biodiesel, either when the fuel is for immediate use or being stored for over 1 month. Biodiesel must be stored in suitable tanks where water ingress is not possible or there will be water and subsequently bacteria contaminating the biodiesel. Allklear 400 will control the premature oxidation of unsaturated fatty acid esters in biodiesel. And the formation of highly volatile compounds and corrosive carboxylic acids that are well known to form polymerized and cross-linked biodiesel gums that can precipitate and damage all types of diesel engines

Dosage Level - Typical addition rates are between 0.2% to 0.5% by volume (i.e. 2-5 litres made up to 1,000 litres with the biodiesel produced). Generally the required treat rate will be dependent upon the natural stability of the biodiesel produced. The customer must determine the required dosage and check compatability with the biodiesel. Please note, the presence of other (suppliers) additives may alter the Allklear 400 dosage rates suggested

Application - We recommend Allklear 400 is added at the final stage of production of biodiesel, once the biodiesel has been filtered and washed. It does not require a great deal of mixing as Allklear 400 contains dipersing agents which decrease mixing times. Simply pour into stream if possible on way to storage tank. Do not add Allklear 400 when biodiesel is still above 50°C as this has potential to flash off

General Notes on Additives:

All of the additives we sell can be used together in the same batch of fuel (with a choice of EITHER coldflow 350 OR coldflow 402)
All of the additives we sell must be added to the Biodiesel/WVO individually, they cannot be mixed together and then added to the biodiesel
All of the additives we sell can be added to the Biodiesel/WVO at room temperature, but the Biodiesel/WVO itself must be at the recommended temperature as per the application instructions above
In their raw form the only additives that are classed as 'hazardous' are Bioboost 1000, and Allklear 400 which are flammable, however, when mixed with biodiesel / WVO the resulting mix is not flammable and as such is not hazardous. As these additives are used in such small concentrations with biodiesel they would also not register as harmful to the environment once mixed
