THIS VESSEL IS SUPPLIED COMPLETE WITH 50% OF ITS CAPACITY FULL OF Purolite PD 206 Ion Exchange Resin

PERFORMANCE TIP - ALWAYS FEED THESE VESSELS BACKWARDS, PUMPING OIL INTO THE 'OUT' PORT, THIS RELIEVES PRESSURE AGAINST THE BOTTOM SCREEN, PROLONGING LIFE OF THE SCREEN AND SPEEDING UP THE RATE OF FLOW

For optimum performance, Purolite recommend a minimum resin bed depth of 3 times the vessel diameter, the tower should also be filled with only 50% of its capacity with resin to allow for expansion, therefore models 0844, and 0948 are the most appropriate sized towers, though many users find that 0735 or 0835 towers perform adequately, albeit at slower flow rates

IMPORTANT - IF THE VESSEL IS FILLED WITH RESIN TO GREATER THAN 50% OF ITS TOTAL CAPACITY, THE RESIN, AS IT REACHES EXHAUSTION WILL DESTROY THE DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM AND BLOW OUT OF THE TOP, YOU WILL THEN NEED A REPLACEMENT DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM. WE THEREFORE RECOMMEND WHEN FILLING YOUR OWN TOWER THAT YOU COMPLY WITH THE MAXIMUM RECOMMENDED VOLUME
