A comprehensive Kit for Biodiesel Titration

Available with Potassium Hydroxide, or Sodium Hydroxide Titration Solution

From personal experience, we would always recommend using Potassium Hydroxide for biodiesel production, this is because Potassium Hydroxide mixes more easily with methanol than Sodium Hydroxide, and can also result in a fuel with a lower cloud point, which is better for cooler, or winter conditions

Kit Contains:

• 500 ml Isopropanol (Isopropyl Alcohol) in HDPE Screwcap Bottle
• 500 ml Indicator Solution (Potassium or Sodium Hydroxide 0.1% with De-Mineralised (De-Ionised) Water, in HDPE Screwcap Bottle
• 50 ml Phenolphthalein PH Indicator Solution in Brown Glass Dropper Bottle (please note: solution should be be kept in brown glass bottle to prevent deterioration)
• 3X 100 ml Graduated Plastic Beakers
• 2X 1 ml Syringes (For Oil, 1 ml required per test)
• 2X 5 ml Syringes (For Titration Solution, usually less than 5 ml required per test)
• 2x 10 ml Syringes (For Isopropanol, 10 ml required per test)
• 5X Pairs of best quality Powdered, Vinyl Gloves, size Medium
