Screw Plug Immersion Heaters

A range of top quality, fully ATEX (EN) approved immserion heaters for commercial or domestic heating of flammable liquids, particularly popular for use in bio diesel reactors

For ease of reference, our 120 Litre Conical Tank will best suit RFA003 and this will heat the contents in approximately 1.5 hours. Our 1000 Litre tank will best suit RFA001 which will heat the contents in 2.5 hours, or RFA002 which will heat the contents in 3.0 hours

FOR HORIZONTAL MOUNTING ONLY We also recommend the use of a Level Control Switch to prevent operation of the heater when the level of liquid is insufficient to cover the element. These elements are fully operational throughout their length so they should never be fitted in a position where they are not completely immersed or they may present a fire hazard

It is worth noting the amperage of the elements, for use on a standard 32A fused domestic ring-main supply, you should not connect to the supply with a plug containing a 13A fuse. We can recommend using 16A caravan / site type 3-pin mains sockets for this purpose which an electrician will be able to install for you. We can supply a comprehensive un-fused fitting kit for equipment with a combined 16A maximum draw, details below
