Oilybits Shaft Driven Mixing Propellor

One of our own designs and to be found nowhere else, these high specification Hex Shaft Driven Mixing Propellors are popular for mixing any chemicals which are not agressive to the mixers component materials

Popular uses include agitation of catalysts for biodiesel production, and blending of biodiesel with petroleum, they are also useful for incorporating into tank mixing systems for ocean shipping where in-transit fluids need to be kept in suspension to ensure that they dont go-off or seperate during the sometimes long journeys, the propellors are of a solid design and are extremely robust and reliable

The most popular version is the 100mm Dia Polypropylene Propellor with the standard 1m shaft, though larger prop are available and all listed in the chart below. The mixer is assembled by means of a large thread, onto which the propellor screws, the propellor is then locked into place by a nut which is tightened against the back of the propellor to prevent it from unscrewing during use

Can be powered by any electric drill with a 10mm or greater chuck capacity, or permanently coupled to a suitable motor, or attached to a simple crank for hand operation

For ease of reference a 100mm Diameter Propellor will fit into one of our 60L or 120L Conical Tanks without cutting the tank
