The G180 nozzle has been designed and developed for overwing fueling of both commercial and military aircraft. Lightweight, comfortable and easy to operate, this product has a wide range of applications across the aviation sector. Alongside the standard G180 is EMCO Wheaton’s speed spout option. This variant allows operators to change spouts in less than five seconds, making it ideal for time-sensitive operation.
The G180 Nozzle is built on a modified G457 chassis. The G457 has been the preferred nozzle of many military organizations around the world for many years. In opting for the G180, you will benefit from the experience we have gained in the field with this proven design.
The standard G180 is ideally matched for refueling operations across the aviation sector. It’s equipped with a stainless-steel hedge pin for salt water resistance – ideal for marine environments such as oil rigs – and key ring for easier repair. An optional bumper ring can also be added, acting as a handle and a wing guard. Rugged by design, this overwing fueling nozzle is made of components that maintain electrical continuity between the swivel and hose. The G180 with speed spout includes all of these features but is also fitted with a quick-change mechanism. This allows spouts to be installed and removed with one hand in under five seconds.
