Oilybits, Aviation EX 56 Drum Kit, ATEX Approved
After many years of supplying similar one-off kits as specials, we have created a standardised range of ultra-reliable aviation fuel pumping system kits for; Drum, IBC, and Wall-Mount application, all featuring the Piusi Panther EX 56 Pump, ISO-1825 Aviation Hose/s, Elaflex ZVF 25 Aviation Nozzle, and with options for Flow Meters, and Filters.
All of our kits are supplied with an Alptec Stainless Steel Bonding Cable & C-Clamp with paint-piercing points to bond the pump to the rim of the drum or IBC cage. If used in a building you will need to ground the drum to earth in your facility, in the same way that you ground the aircraft itself, we offer a range of grounding cables for this HERE. If used in the field, we recommend the OPTIONAL Elaflex Nozzle Cap & Chain, and Bonding Cable & Clip to go with the included nozzle.
Elaflex electrically-conductive hose/s are connected to the pump using Cam & Groove Couplings and Aluminium Saddle Clamps, ensuring the continuity of bonding, and because of this, extension hose/s could be inserted if longer hose/s are occasionally required. The couplings do not close the hose ends, so the hose/s can be easily drained for storage, or fully dried out for onward transport. Self-closing ATEX-approved couplings (HERE) are available if required, let us know your requirements and we can quote.
Ordinary industrial electrical cable should be used and is not included - Refer to EN 60079-14 Explosive Atmospheres; Part 14: Electrical installations design, selection, and assembly, cables intended for use in explosion-hazard zones are used in the same configuration as in industrial installations, except for intrinsically safe circuits.
