UKSGL Winder Mk 1A, 32m, Auto-Locking & Depth Counter, for Fuel Samplers up to 1500ml

Ideally suited for use with the range of samplers we sell, the UK Sampling Gauges Ltd, MK 1A Winders are designed and made with the safety and convenience of operators in mind.

MK 1A Winder was developed for use with medium-sized samplers up to 1500ml capacity

Standard Features:

• Auto-Locking Winding Mechanism.
• Cable Wiper.
• Depth Counter.
• Support Leg.
• Grounding Cable.

The winding handle controls the lowering and lifting of the sampler. A simple squeeze of the winding knob releases the lock on the winding reel. Letting go of the knob automatically locks the reel. Recent improvements in the design of the winding / locking mechanism have been made, these ensure that the winder makes its contribution to the safety of sampling operations, and to the comfort of the operator.

The cable is of multi-strand stainless steel to avoid the contamination that can occur with ropes and chains.

The design of the hook minimises the risk of a sampler becoming detached from the winder. The hook and cable, together with the clamp of the support, ensure electrical continuity and prevent the build-up of static electricity in the sampling system.

ATEX:

• The Mk-1A Winder is ATEX approved in its own right.
• The ATEX certificate for an assmbly will contain the serial numbers of both the Mk-1A Winder and the applicable Sampling Gauge. The Winder will have an "ATEX Sticker" applied to it, and the Sampling Gauge will bear no additional markings.
• The ATEX marking is Ex II 1G IIC c T3
• UKSGL sampling gauges that can be used with the UKSGL MK1A winder to provide an ATEX approved open sampling kit are: ALBTMS, BTMS, ALS, ALSBV
• The ATEX certificate is provided FREE OF CHARGE when the MK1A is purchased
